HADEETH.ID is a non-commercial, educational Hadith reference platform designed to facilitate access to authenticated Islamic hadith literature. The platform is operated independently and is not affiliated with any commercial organisation.

• Account Information: If you choose to log in using an email address, Google, Apple, or Facebook, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if provided by the authentication provider) via Supabase Auth.
• Browser localStorage: We store your reading preferences (last-read hadith, language preference, dark/light mode, and Hadith of the Day setting) locally in your browser.
• Search Queries: If you use the search feature, your search terms may be transmitted to third-party services (like Algolia or Cloudflare AI) for processing.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect any personal information beyond what is necessary to maintain your account and sync your preferences.
• We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not require account registration to use the platform; account creation is completely optional.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

HADEETH.ID uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your preferences between sessions. This data is stored entirely on your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The following keys may be stored:

• hadeeth_lang — your selected interface language (EN or ID)
• hadeeth_theme — your selected colour theme (dark or light)
• hadeeth_last_read — the last hadith you viewed (book ID and hadith number)
• hadeeth_hotd — Hadith of the Day setting (if manually changed via the Admin panel)
• dataset_version — your preferred dataset version (Primary / Lidwa / AhmedBaset)

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on your behalf:

• Cloudflare Pages — Website hosting and CDN. Cloudflare may log IP addresses for security purposes. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — We load fonts from Google's servers. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Algolia (if enabled) — Search functionality. See Algolia Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

HADEETH.ID is designed for general audiences and is a reference resource for Islamic scholarship. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

7. Data Security

Since HADEETH.ID is a fully static website that does not collect or store personal data on our servers, the security risk to your personal information is minimal. All user preferences are stored in your own browser.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion Instructions

You have full control over your personal data:

• Data Deletion Request: If you have created an account (via Email, Google, Apple, or Facebook) and wish to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our servers (Supabase), please send an email to info@hadeeth.id with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request and permanently remove your data within 7 business days.
• Local Data: To remove locally stored reading preferences, you can simply clear your browser's site data or cookies for hadeeth.id.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
